Green Tea Extract 500mg
Product Description
Derived from the leaf of the plant, Green tea contains substances called polyphenols, which scientists think contribute to its anti-cancer activity. Laboratory studies of one polyphenol, catechin epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), show that it may interfere with several of the processes involved in cell replication.
• Catechins are antioxidants with the ability to scavenge reactive Oxygen species such as superoxide and hydroxyl and peroxyl radicals.
• Catechins have a thermogenic (fat burning) effect in the body.
• Catechins can boost the effectiveness of enzymatic phase II detoxification.
• Catechins appear to help maintain healthy cell colonies.
